Aspirin Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Aspirin

Aspirin

I am told aspirin is my best medicine
“No, never! ” I tell them and reject.

Between us; I have kept my secret
‘I took a big bottle, suicide
And crate of Pepsi.’

Everyone after me
They broke door and faced
A half-dead, unconscious in a bed.

The rest is history; just one thing:
“I was the Romeo and Judy, Juliet, ”
Gun in hand they took her from me.
