At Gun Point Poem by Michael Olajubu

At Gun Point

Jagged deeply into my spineless ear,
A grody toy draining fear
Out of my lungs, heart and soul.
Tremor netted control
Of my emotion
Stuck in motion;
Courage bled
And shed
Tears.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This was a personal experience of mine some years ago. I was rubbed at gun point and reminiscing on the incident conjured a desire to pen something down. Here is the result. Enjoy! Regards.
