At His Mercy Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

At His Mercy

Rating: 5.0

I saw big thunder in the sky
It almost blinded me for no reason why?
He was lying by the side in careless position
We had lovely life with fine composition

I got fear with loud explosion
It was to be create upheaval in ocean
The tidal waves were rising very high
The birds were ready in position to fly

I saw one long lightening scar
It as seen in sky very far
It feared me more as he lay motionless
I too did not bother him as careless

In no time he was taken away
He had found his divine way
He could see his destination and gone
He left me alone for all pains to be borne

I am firm believer of faith
I never thought of untimely death
He might have needed him more there
I had no reason to think of it elsewhere

I only pleaded for his happy sojourn
How could I weep and earnestly mourn?
He had left behind so much pain with long tail
I could not understand it well preferred to fail

I had all the desire to keep him with me
I was bound by His will and not free
It was to be respected at all cost
I had already sunk with dead end almost

I shall till think of his divine path
It can be final resort for all of us as last
Who are we to mourn the death and express the grief?
We have come here to stay for limited period or brief
