At Night Poem by Chaminda Pushpadewa

I woke up at the midnight from the bed
The night was full calm
Many of animals humans and natural things were slept
Although, forthcoming morning will busy with work

Some of electrical goods were operating over the night
Many of vehicle were running over the road
Beside the road there lights towers were sparkle
This is a not one night i had without sleep

When the time of close my eyes on the chair
Creating nice dreams them were sweet memories
Some time among the woods watch the birds
Some time run across the mountain to see the top end

Gradually increasing that was blinking eyes
Gradually decreasing that was sounding grew.. grew...
Some one has called to sleep in the bed
standing from the chair that was for bedding
