At The End Of The Road Poem by Anam Rizvi

At The End Of The Road

Rating: 1.5

You're at the end of the road.
Eveything is bare.
You grope in the darkness,
Blank space stares everywhere.

The night doesn't end,
The pain doesn't stall.
You want to get up,
But all you do is fall.

The tunnel stretches on,
This side and there.
You scream out for help,
And laugh at your own despair.

There's a voice at the back.
Can you hear it?
Can you?
The sound of your heart, of your love of your dreams,
They call out to you.
Can you hear it?
Can you?
