At The Scale Of Life I Wait For You Poem by Leaking Pen

At The Scale Of Life I Wait For You

Despair sinking
Then hope rising.
Who stabilizes?
My daily balance
Whose breath?
Brings the most
Loving …
And is in charge of
My poem's greetings.
This poem of mine
Frames my life in hope
My love…
For you have paved
My pothole ridden heart
With your tender love!
I am now
Adjusting
The scale of my old life,
Whose heavy load
Has been lifted by your love.
Despair versus hope
And vice versa,
When a soul
Is on its own
Despair outmanoeuvres hope
And tips the scale of life downwards,
I wish this on no other.
Daily burdens accumulate,
Like seconds in a minute.
You lend me a hand
And you lend me your ears,
And each ounce of pain removed
From the side of my despair,
Is an extra measure of hope
Lifting my heart closer to heaven,
And I experience an endorphin rush
Like from running a race
Well deserved and at the end won
And with one loud Amen,
For my new discovered life!
I thank you.
