[at Worse, Common Denominations] Poem by Aaron Eliad

[at Worse, Common Denominations]

At worse, common denominations
will know you meant everything
about edible body paints
and not even going there with places
to run through like moons
and personal planet climates with hair.
here they know the worst common scent lovers.
Even the worst actors had names and eyes
to see through letter plates
on ten toes and lungs
the closed cousin of spoons.

Meet marble wolves in marble glass
and copy the sun from cameras
you had when you opened your mind.

The pie's piece that I borrowed
has lots of lights
and qualities I look for in bikes.
It's organs, sadly,
will not fit in a soda bottle
more beautiful than all the moonrises
used to describe people.

The fables are following.
There's even a name for people like you.
I don't know it, but I'll tell you.
Your name wasn't a stain or strain
on the neck of a bent empire,
your name wasn't anything.
