Athena Moved In When Eros Died Poem by Chuy Amante

Athena Moved In When Eros Died

Rating: 5.0

It was a chemical romance
it came and it went
all fluttery and fun
but not heaven sent

so I kicked her out
or traded her in
I found the truth,
not a drop of sin

Athena moved in
she rocks my world
lies and ego
have all been hurled

The Truth is a goddess
who I adore,
that chemical love
was that of whores

Kindness, and fun,
and loving reason
are here with me
with no more seasons

Though an expression in an apparent funny way but very thoughtfully written with a deeper thought
