Atonement Poem by Manager Poet

This word and Jesus’ deeds have such a wonderful connotation.
They have been preached to men everywhere in every generation.
For you see, Jesus died so we can call Heaven our permanent home.
We are really never alone on this place called earth on which we roam.

For you and me we understand that we sometimes have to make amends.
Have you ever done something to truly hurt one of your deepest friends?
Words alone can never undo the hurt inflicted by one in moment of passion.
True forgiveness is possible only when dealing with a heart of compassion.
