Atoning Your Love Poem by Sara Here

Atoning Your Love

Amidst night and my devilish thoughts
A pray caller for God calls
That I may see the light there
he does not know that I see lights no more

Yesterday I called for God
To save me from what I did
I cried and cried for him to listen
He did listen but did not hasten to lessen

I know He sees. I know He perceives
I know that from my torment he will release
But when is the time… I fear
I might be dead before they appear.

I asked him to save me from the blame
To save me from your love and my heart tame
I beseeched him to do
Still nothing happens to you

I can not stop loving you
This as well He quite know
Must I forsake or be forsaken?
Should I die in his love mistaken?

Awaken me God from the dark
Awaken me let me in Your light lurk
I love him and love You no shackle
Can loot your love or beguile
