Attention Turning. Poem by Peter Vealey

Attention Turning.

Rating: 5.0

Like light fading from a day.
Messages in the distance,
Noises from afar.
Not heard anymore.
Just irritating,
Like a noisy car.
Like light fading from
A winters` day inexorably.
You cannot please everyone.
Sometimes,
You just have to say
That was yesterday.
But like before
My attention is turning,
A little back to you
Right now.
But soon.
There will be a different song,
And attention turning
Will begin
From this sad ol`place
Of inbetween loves.
