Australia - Stop The Boats Poem by Paul Warren

Australia - Stop The Boats

What does it mean in the list of quotes
We have stopped the boats!
Is it that no more people will die?
Or is it that they don't jump the line in a lie?

What do we do now that they have stopped?
This policy should now be to the world shopped?
Does the world now follow our lead
And not bother about others now in their need?

I think we should show some kindness now
We have enough to take some in and not call a foul
What do do here now should guide us to the light
And not be ones to whom the right way is a fight!

Why the politicians are all tucked warm in bed do they ever STOP to think of these refugees. Forget Labour, forget Liberal it is The Greens that always show compassion. Thank You Paul.
