Australia - The Spirit Of The Pioneer Poem by Paul Warren

What was the spirit of the pioneer
Who left their homes to come here
From other places in their wishing
To make a new life was their mission

Some came because they were oppressed
In they knew their families would be pressed
To find a good life not based on religion
Or racial group or other societal division

Australia is based on being a hard working friend
And is something that we Aussies will forever defend.
