Autobiography Poem by Alexander Villegas

Autobiography

She was your pen and you were her writer. You were writing a story of a girl who must do as she is told or else she will be forever scared with shame and embarrassment from her parents. She had to follow the rules that she did not want to live by and make her parents happy. She was also very lonely because of her skin and the skin of her surroundings. As the writer continues to write, the pen refuses to write. The pen had grown tired of the same story that was making it's ink run low. The pen fought and rebelled against the writer. The pen left and she went to a new page to write her own story.
