Autumn Haiku Sequence Poem by Chenou Liu

'dust to dust'...
a grasshopper clutching
a lump of earth

crickets chirping...
thoughts like the touch
of a baby's hand

monarchs leaving...
in the attic window
my dog and I

alone with my thoughts...
wing to wing
two red dragonflies
