The brillant orange, it billows-
The tawdry burnt, to brown-
The air 'tis filled with aroma of chestnuts-
And Mesquite wood, fills the breeze, in our town!
'Tis a brillant, crisp, Metamorphis-
As a catapillar to: The Monarch, Butterfly-
It reminds me, of this change, in season-
With the Golden and Dark leaves, blowing in the sky-
Doc and Diane, Thank You, Both! Your words ARE always appreciated! Blessings to you both! Always, Theo: 0) xxxx
I like your poem also Theo! Lovely title and I can smell your autumn kissed air and picture autumn kissed monarchs flying there. Hugs, Diane
Well, Andy from the votes, i see my poem was read by more than you, but no one wanted to comment. i always enjoy comments...whether good or bad, as good constructive critic is always welcomed. I love the Monarch. She is so regal...and yes, her colours-so Fall-like! Thank you for taking the time to read my work! Theo
