Autumn Leaves 2 Poem by Phil Soar

Autumn Leaves 2

Relish the colours of autumn leaves
Serenely covering grass so green
Adding the nutrients to last years soil
Their lingering death like a ballet
Dancing in the air as they fall to the ground
Curling at their edges
No more oxygen to give
Returning to the earth
