Avenging Lances Poem by Katie Figueroa

Avenging Lances

Black as cole with piercing eyes
Before her stood evil not desguised.

The Spirit did quicken Saints to their knees
And the battle began but not with ease.

Demon forces were strong,
As the warefare raged on.

Prayers for a hedge of protection,
Continuted to God for his election.

The unseen battle grew hotter,
As the evil forces faught her.

Her life lay in the balances,
As imps danced on valences.

Victory is mine! His voice was heard,
And warring Angels came carrying the Word.

As God's Word was dispersed,
The imps and demons scattering did curse.

Strong and steadfast is the Lord,
And off ran the scurring horde.

His peace and presence filled her will,
And in His love she grows stronger still.
