Avoiding Insanity Poem by Sandra Feldman

Avoiding Insanity

Rating: 5.0

After all these years,
I understand, Nothing,
In search of answers,
I return with empty hands,
And an even heavier heart.
The meaning of Life escapes me,
So much fight, so much pain,
For Nothing!
Lucky are they who,
Have some happy moments to remember,
Who think All is not in vain,
Who in Life's goings and comings,
Still manage to stay sane.

What would insanity feel like? Go for it! Maybe that is the gold pot at rainbow's end? Give or sell all your stuff and hit the road in a camper. America is a magical place. Give away 5,000 smiles and write about it! Hugs are fun too! Who wouldn't want to meet Sandra? sign me up

If you are happy then do whatever you're doing. If you are not then change something. Life is what we make it. I totally agree with Valsa George. Wonderful write!

I succumbed to insanity. Seemed easier that way.: -)

There is a tone of great disappointment in these lines! Life is not a chalice of wine, at times it tastes so bitter! Sometimes it turns a sour potion! Still we have to accept it! We have to rigorously train our mind to keep composure through all adversities! Those who fight vigorously and perseveringly alone win! Sandra.... accept that life is not smooth!
