Avoiding Mirrors

She walks into the room
hammer in hand
smashes the mirror
she is filled with dread
assumes theres no hope
glass falls to the floor
pictures of her ruined
maybe there is more
than to what shes hiding
she falls to the floor
hands covering eyes
not knowing what to do
nor where to hide
