Need for a drug that overpowers the pain
A spring that sets the faith in bloom
this long winter has frozen my soul
need for a sun that dethrones the numb.

longing for a new dawn
which is not seen everyday
this night has been ceaseless
longing for something illuminated.

wish to plant the seed of love
that feeds every corner of the earth
this barrenness has been too prolonged
wish to see my tree alive.

hope to light the fire
in the blazing wind
it has died a thousand times
hope to see the burning flame.

faith to reach the unreachable
the ladder has been always invisible
who is even the unperceivable
faith to be able to see beyond.
