Awaken 2 5 Poem by Sareh Sayidi

Awaken 2 5

I did it again.

kisses deep
tendered sugar
admist a glance.

Birds forgiven
feet on grass,
I walked the lashes
danced the trance.

I passed the rivers
fell into tears,
watching me he
stood me by ears.

Open-armed in clocks
I watched him passing,
passing the shadowed
abate the crowd.

He took the wings;
was dark to fly,
and yet he stood,
stood to try.
