Awkward Reality - Poem by Abdul Wahab

What you wish for yourself
Do you wish the same for me?
This question must put you in
Between two sharply pointed horns
Neither can you have a wish for me
To be a king in your lovely kingdom
Nor you afford to have a wish for me
What is not identical to that of yours
As you run a risk to lose me as your friend
What an awkward reality!
You may annoyed with it
But I fully enjoy.

Awkward realities often develop into the best of friendships with honesty and respect. (Report) Reply
