Awkward Reality Poem by Abdul Wahab

Awkward Reality

Rating: 4.7

What you wish for yourself
Do you wish the same for me?
This question must put you in
Between two sharply pointed horns
Neither can you have a wish for me
To be a king in your lovely kingdom
Nor you afford to have a wish for me
What is not identical to that of yours
As you run a risk to lose me as your friend
What an awkward reality!
You may annoyed with it
But I fully enjoy.

Awkward realities often develop into the best of friendships with honesty and respect.
