Baby Girl Poem by Ben Banda

Deep within her, a sting is hidden,
A hidden sting never spoken of,
Forever lay in darkness, watching;
By the paths lay before others.
The sting in her, untold of,
The sting glows, the sting grows.
Not concocting, awaits for implosions;
Silent cages to tear violently,
Towing her fated paths into the abyss,
Into the dark, into the maelstroms,
Cages which host bonds of forlorn.
Now, the silent one in her stirringly,
Stops, in silence, to nurture the hosts
Who projected the silence in her heart.
Now, here, silently her loot comes,
For her boots; her hands tie the laces,
Her shoot announcing the doom,
And her foot, though thin, shall stand
For the silent one, in the baby girl.
