Baby You Will Poem by Kelly Batson

Baby You Will

Rating: 4.5

What I hold onto
No longer exists
You don’t love me
Not like you did
You can stop trying
To whip away my tears
I don’t need you anymore
You only bring me down
I hate you forever
So go be with her
She will make you happy
At least for a while
She is merely temporary relief
To all your pain
I know you too well
I will miss our past
I will miss your touch
I will miss your lips pressed against mine
But one day your world will stop
Even if only for a moment
And you will miss me
You will wonder
Who is touching me
You will wonder
How things could be different
You will regret
What you let walk away today
Without a fight
