Back And Forth Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Back And Forth

A covering of a goat's skin!
To protect your property;
And, to overcome the fake healers in your land.
Muse!
Like a leaf which is driven back dand forth;
But, smelling the sense of war everywhere in the world today.

Life!
Do not become easily angered;
For, anger rests in the bosom of the fool,
But, the dream that has come true will never pass away.

Back and forth!
With the fowls of the air,
With the beasts of the field,
With the fish of the sea,
But, an honourable name is better than fine perfume.
