When the night wind chills your heart
when you are away from home,
you wish you were back there
tucked up in your warm bed
away from the chilling night
that penetrates your soul.
Back to those warm rooms
you call your loving home.
Back to your loved one
who waits patiently for you.
Back to the safety of your dreams
vowing to never leave again,
even if for just one day.
Back from the night wind chill
to your own castle walls.
Back to the place where
your heart calls, home.
