Back You Poem by Rebecca Stansfield

Back You

Slowly, captivating, weeping,
the missing piece nor fitting,
neither sitting, wondering, waiting
will you ever come back?

-The light dimming,
the summer setting,
an introduction of the heart,
is not easily running forward, nor easily coming apart.
-Waiting will you come back?

The stillness on the lake,
holding lilies up and still,
not sleeping nor awake.

-Waiting on the budding fog,
the mist waiting along,
willows captivating shades,
weak but keeping strong.

-The degree holding almost freezing,
frosting over, touching dead,
whom makes each stir a very-guest,
that foes are disturbing the rest.

-But shaking in the vainy dusk,
lulling, stirring better than before,
the face of freedom which was so longed for,
captivating, troubled, not any more.
