Backwards Bloom Poem by Bill Bright

Backwards Bloom

Rating: 4.8

There is this phenomenon of growing old
But it seems there are many who grow cold
Born with innocence and bliss
Abundant positivity is sent to the abyss
Self admiration for deeds in the past
It must be a forward human race, to forever last
Cocooned within walls, thinking but with fears
Explore, talk, enjoy life with your eyes and your ears
Move away from comfort which ceases to fulfil
Continue to be stimulated and not drowned out with a pill
I may be young and have gaps in what to understand
But I have hopes and desires, with love for all on the land.
