Baking goł a, bki

Remembering baking,
I'm back with my Polish matka
baking goł a, bki
(go-womb-ki = pidgeons)

multi-meat & rice burgers
wrapt in boiled cabbage-leaves,
arranged in rows in a turkey-baker
in our gas oven.

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
