I stand here, I wait here.
Don't know where I'm supposed to go.
I'm not walking, I'm stagnant on this road:
The highway to you.

I'm just asking to be hit,
By a semi of lies.
That will break me, and leave me there to die.
A tumbleweed of worth, tramped by a stampede of doubt.
No way to get out.

God be my barrier (barrier) .
Black me from this wrecking pain coming so near.
And when I get run down pushed in the ground,
Will you stay with me, until it's finally found,
That through you I don't have to be weak.
I'll keep walking on.

This road's filled every line with trials.
A wasteland everywhere but north.
This road leads me to you...
No pain can keep me still!
