Baskets Of Flowers Poem by Leonard Dabydeen

Baskets Of Flowers

(I)
You and I are here:
with baskets of flowers pruned
after raging storms.

(II)
We come to your door
with hope amidst blowing wind:
holding a basket.

(III)
We bring this for you:
flowers of joy and true love-
to start your new day.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
