Arise! God says your Light has come
Your lamp you need to trim
I’ve sent my Son so don’t be dumb
Rise up and follow Him

Walk steadily with Christ in view
Along the narrow way
Though people walk away from you
Though friends and family stray

Allow your life to be a light
Shining upon their lives
Glowing within the darkened night
Where Satan lives and thrives

Reveal to all your Saviour’s love
Reveal to whom you pray
Make known to them His Light above
Exposes true decay

Decay that’s closing Heaven’s door
Widening Satan’s gate
Thus widening his snares once more
With hell’s revolting bait

Reveal The Truth their eyes to see
Expose salvation’s hand
Upon your face on bended knee
Until they understand

Be lights God says become as salt
Season my sheep with love
Be wise, in love show each their fault
Barring the way above

So shine my child where ere you go
Glimmer throughout the earth
Gather your friend gather your foe
Shining for all you’re worth
