Be My Valentine Poem by Lawrence Hiung

Be My Valentine

You are my Valentine,
You're so beautiful,
Like a rose in the rose garden.

My love, My dearest,
Love You always.
Love You eternity.

My Love, My Dearest,
Listening and watching,
Time passing by,
I always love you.

My Love, I say,
I miss you dearly,
More than ever before.

Be with me now,
To touch my soul and heart,
To knit my souls with yours.

Be My Valentine, my dearest.

Dave, Thanks for your kind words and encouragement.. In a poem, we say little or use less words but those words means a lot...Therefore, it is very difficult to compose a simple and direct good poem with very little words (maybe in a santza or one line we only we use 4 to 8 syllables. Each paragraph, I use only either 3 or 4 lines with a good line break between paragraphs for reading, with right punctuations and pauses in-between. (silence plays an important roles when come to reading poem aloud.) The whole poem may consists of 4 or 5 paragraphs

Reflection note: This poem is dedicated to all my friends and my love ones on this year Valentine on 14 Feb. and remember that love is beautiful if ones want to live their life more meaningful. Love is an universal language just like music and poem.
