Be Not A Fool Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Be Not A Fool

Why like a fool, build your house on sand?
Live, at self's beck and call
Never able to understand
When once again you fall

Of course in truth, we will all fail
As part of normal life
Priests in churches, convicts in jail
Witness peace, joy, family strife

Yes! this world revolves in torment
Though lovingly once made
But instead of peace. love, enjoyment
Perfection, began to fade

Life's structures will never collapse
Shaking once, now and then
God's never maybe, nor perhaps
But always, yes and amen

Faultless! is He, now, forever
Just how else could He be
What from His hand can sever?
Once Jesus sets us free

Not even oneself, with knowledge
When facts souls agree
Who while at Salvation collage
Truth, truly! sets one free

Jesus, never fails, nor loses
Christ, on Golgotha's tree
With nail holes, blood oozing bruises
True victory's plain to see

Making you friend, yes even me
Mistakes were never there
Writing here as you can see
Join me God's love to share.....
