Be straight

Let us be straight forward
And think not much about outside world
But keep self to inner confidence
To live in present with beautiful presence

World had been cruel so far and unsympathetic
Especially to a young lady with face so cosmetic
Praise on the face for outer beauty
And go on till you get bored already

Thousands of yes invade at a time
When you are busy in meeting people sometimes
They take casual look at you
But try to come near and talk through

It is no feeling with any attachment
It is simple attraction with lot more to resent
They are not open to what is in their mind?
They will present views as if they are very kind

The simple matter is not of major concern
Many may take it as personal honor
But to think of personal attachment may pose an illusion
One must think of only self and take personal precaution

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
