Be Straight! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Be Straight!

You may be writing,
You may be talking,
You may be sleeping,
You may be reading,
You may be dreaming,
You may be painting;
And like the pink heart of man talking to a 'Malak' saying:
'My finger is thicker than your waist'.

Words from you teaches the world,
But, this nice world of us is now being ruled by fummy people! !
And, many are killing their own people without any reason.

People go hungry while others put on 350,000 Dollars necklace!
But, this muse of life is allegorically pictured as a tree;
And, it is better to help the poor than to let them go hungry around you.

Houses without walls,
And of the muse of a bloated balloon! !
But, the perfect atmosphere of life is always governed by peace and joy.

You may be thinking,
You may be working,
You may be cooking,
You may be eating,
You may be climbing,
You may be praying;
From the rising sun to the Mount of 'Moriyah'!
But, a derivative and a chaste virgin is what you need around you.

The river of life is closer to you than you think!
And of that which refreshes and keeps alive;
But Satan deceived Eve and, Adam did not correct his wife;
So, they were sent out of the Garden of Eden.

The sins of this world!
Are like the tower of ovens;
But glitter and glamour will hang you onto the gallows! !
However, we are each others keeper;
So, be straight in this life.
