Beach. Poem by Francesco Perdona'

Beach.

I left the beach summer turned wild
pain was the rose of mysterious union
my dark higways and forests
so I left the beach all that remained
when we woke up was so true
was sex for me I left the beach
blood from my love jailed nervous sheets
I left poets cover girls paper archangels
I drunk cold stars iced liquors
sweet milk wine of abandon
woke up in strange places
music came over no one could hear
so far from God
so was sex for her another ruined day
I drunk a liquid night
sex for you was sweat on lips
how many ways do you know
every night when you crawl back
on the shadow prayers carpet
to the same old breacking point
starting to die speachless&wild
sex for me was a ship
perverted
hot
senseless
&cruel
I drunk her skin, at least licking away
wilderness pain from her
skin & splendour.
& I die.
