Sweethearts wandered
Thro' Southland Gardens
Tossing away dull care.
Then down to the foot of
Beachy Head where the
Climate was warm and fair.
And two hearts together
Shone anew when
Their holiday Cottage
Came into view.

The moorland scenery
So picturesque with
Beauty beyond compare.
Musical notes of Grieg
And Handel seemed to
Echo over the air, and
Breathless romance
Shone anew when
Beachy Head Cottage
Came into view.
