Beautiful Poem by Karen Touzalin

Beautiful

Rating: 4.5

In your mouth,
I am precious pearl
Diamond cut
woman
Carved from your rib
A prized flower in your secret garden

In your eyes
I am Helen of Troy,
Cleopatra,
Diana, goddess of love
Shooting arrows at your heart
And poetry at your mind.

In your hands,
I am canvas
You adorn me in Technicolor
Frame my face with laughter
And make my Mona Lisa smile

In this journey,
You are the conqueror of my heart
And I am discovered
At last,
Revealed
in beauty.

A nice and well written love poem with Similes to drive home the conviction of the poet. A lovely piece penned in poetic diction. Thanks for sharing and do keep it up. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

I love the references here and it clearly create ambience and a romantic atmosphere...just be carefull to bring in references that is unknown to readers that is not well read.....but the skill and creative ability is present with a fusion of intensity...liked this
