Beautiful Child - Haiku Poem by Nvisible 2Luv

Beautiful Child - Haiku

Rating: 5.0

A child's laughter is
Ringing in my ears tonight
Oh, beautiful child

How to get it right?
Words from Angels, are they true?
Love brings me to you.

Your bidding to do?
No cost is too high I know,
For the seeds we sow.

Soon to reap life's joy.
Your heart always to employ.
Such a wondrous sweet boy.

Xander at age two.
For him I write this haiku.
Love the things you do.

Xander do things right
Such innocence through your sight.
Live with all your might.

Sweet dreams child sleep tight.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My 1st attemptt at Haiku

I wrote this for my sweet little Xander. Hopefully one day to be an official grandma, or nanny, or mema... whatever that dear child wants to call me. I left the last two lines unfinished for now. Maybe each year a new verse or two... eventually, our life in haiku!
