Beautiful Day Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

Beautiful Day

Rain washed clean
Gentle breeze blows
Through sunlit trees
Under quilted clouds
Moving quick and low
Pure sky blue patches
Contrasting green pines
Stretching fresh needles
Upward above drying
Roughened bark limbs
Hosting Grosbeak band
Floating amoung hardwoods
Loosening new leaves
After late freeze
In Spring.
