Beautiful Memories of Shimla

Describing Shimla is easy to do
A place it is where you are always made to feel welcomed
People strange to you, treat you as a friend
Even if you are alone, still you aren't treated as a stranger
A journey between mountains, appears to be beautiful
Is a place really beautiful as I have nothing to complaint about.
Just can say good things about this treasure of mountains
Since, this place has a bright light
An unending light, which never seems to die
Not a moment appears as dull in this place.
When I sleep, mind is at peace even though I am completely alone
If being alone can be this peaceful, then loneliness is surely the best option.
I am far from my parents and will not say that I do not miss them
As they always support me and wish me luck for my journey
Then, everything just becomes of a worth
Every year, I visit it once for a week or so
The day, I depart from this mountainous area, Will miss it
Then next year hope to come again and refresh my beautiful memories of this place.

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
