Beauty And The Beast Poem by Preston Mwiinga

Beauty And The Beast

I was lost in a sea of doubt and despair,
But then she found me, unaware.
In my darkness, she brought a light,
Guiding me back to what's right.

Lost in the chaos of my own mind,
I had forgotten how to be kind.
But she saw potential in me,
And believed in the person she knew I could be.

Like a chameleon, my tongue lashed out,
But she calmed the beast, without a doubt.
She saw beyond my rough exterior,
And brought out the best in me, superior.

With her by my side, I found peace,
And all the anger and hate did cease.
She stood by me through thick and thin,
A true friend, a guiding angel within.

She showed me the power of friendship true,
And proved that the world still has good people too.
So here is my poem, my testimony,
Of the friend who restored my happiness, so genuinely.
