###Beauty and Wit

She walks in beauty
a poet writes…
Rare indeed to find these
aspects so divine that
her eyes reflect the dark and light,
forever they will shine.
Resplendent are her words
of which thought and wit
ne’er so pleasingly combined
that to hear her laughter
inspires love,
enduring perhaps, but blind.
Real love takes time she says,
and time is on her side.
