i notice beneath grass
an algae growth beautiful
which prevent ground soil
mixing with flowing water
light brown to grayish hue
i watch crystal liquid flow

i did imagine that growing
under river, brooks or sea
then we have clear water
i know they have programs
planting sea grass in my place
for fishery habitat and erosion
control, so far it's going great

i reach to touch water, cold
refreshing to my fingers, i
i wanted to play with it
and surely i did for a while
then i wash my hands with alcohol
