Beauty within

a day in my dream
me saw a beaut flower
just blossomed in a soar
so beautiful, so charming
so elegantly ashore;

colored like others
shaped like others
but still a different soul
being so simple, but still so marvellous
that's the diligence she bore;

i gazed at her
as a beau gaze her love
me adored her
as a adorer adore his idol
unconciousness in the amazement;

despite,
not keen, came out of dream
and woke up in a brood
tried to find that masterpiece
who took away my hearty soul;

i searched in the gardens
searched near ponds
searched every corner where sunlight can reach
but did not find that little divine
and sat in helplessness indeed;

wait! there's one place, where i have not searched yet
and beget to search within
through my inner eyes, i peeped in my heart
and found that beauty flourishing sweetly
within my ownself;

'in the core of my heart'

Poem of the Day

poet Sir John Suckling

Dost see how unregarded now
That piece of beauty passes?
There was a time when I did vow
To that alone;
But mark the fate of faces;
