Because I Love You Poem by Trong Phan

Because I Love You

Once i was sweating on the road
Swans passed and asked:
- What are you doing?
- Playing. - I said
Swans slowly flyed away.

Once i was hardly working
An Angel passed and asked:
- What are you doing?
- I am playing.- I replyed
- Go with me! The Angel invited.
- Thank you. Here i am pleasurable. - I refused.
The Angel smiled and flyed away.

Once i was sick, a ghost went to me and asked:
- What are you doing?
- I am playing.- I tryed to say.
- Can i play with you? He coaxed.
- Go out, i need't. I shouted.
The ghost feared and hurriedly went away.

One Sunday i was playing, you asked me what was i doing
- I am working. - I replyed.
You seen me admiringly, and now you are my wife.
