My son isn't a racist because of me
My son isn't a bigot because of me,
My son knows that's his race makes him no better than you or me.

My son believes in God because of me
My son follows the teachings of Jesus because of me,
My son knows that love and kindness is better than hate because of me.

My son judges no one because of me
My son knows that he is better than no one because of me,
My son knows no one is better than him because of me.

My son knows everyone should live a life they want to live because of me
My son knows you should not judge anyone because of me,
My son knows that everyone will not be like him or me.

My son knows we should help the needy because of me
My son knows we should help the poor because of me,
My son knows it's hard for a rich man to make it to heaven because of me.

My son tells no lies because of me
My son doesn't believe in rumors and gossip because of me,
My son doesn't spread lies or rumors and gossip because of me.

My son isn't scared of any one because of me
My son isn't afraid of no one because of me,
My son doesn't need or want a weapon because of me.

My son doesn't smoke or drink alcohol because of me
My son takes no illegal drugs because of me,
My son is becoming a honest, good, caring, god fearing man because of me.

My son knows there are other countries besides ours because of me
My son knows there are other cultures and languages because of me,
My son knows not to belittle another culture or language because of me.

My son knows you should help and give because of me
My son knows that everyone has a right to live because of me,
My son knows that God always watches over both him and me.
