Lying next to an angel watching him sleep,
I find myself lost in a heavenly dream.
I dream about the wonderful life we could share together;
A wild fantasy with unconditional love for each other.
I'm staring at your precious face which lays upon a soft pillow,
Wishing I could hold you without waking you so subtle.
Now I'm looking out the window into the night sky's,
Wondering how long it will be before God decides to make you fly-
Make you fly back up to heaven where you belong.
I want this moment to last forever so I can never do wrong.
As I snap back into reality, I realize this angel is in my imagination,
How I wish he were real because he helped me find what's within.
